Cedarstone Ventures LLC ("Cedarstone," "we," "us") operates this website and the ClauseDelta product at clausedelta.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately short and honest.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you join an alert list, request API/early access, or email us, we collect the details you submit — typically your email address and, for alerts, the U.S. state you care about. The free clause checker may record a non-identifying, one-way hash of clause text and the selected state to measure usage; it does not store your clause text in readable form.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To send the change-alerts or respond to the access request or message you submitted.
To operate, secure, and improve our products in aggregate.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the business (e.g., our website host and email delivery), under confidentiality obligations, and only as needed — or where required by law. We never sell your data.

Retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it (e.g., until you unsubscribe) and apply reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices & rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time.
